Some of you may remember DFADER from his contribution on the IDMf003 release, Mind Tree, I talked about earlier this year. I thoroughly enjoyed his addition to the compilation and was happy to hear he had a free EP available with more of his music. Live From Jabba’s Palace is one of those laid back collections that you can wake up with in the morning. Nice, easy going grooves and light melodies. There isn’t anything to chaotic about it, though it does have an experimental feel to how the music and subtleties are arranged. Going with the theme of the title, it truly gives me the impression that I’m in some lounge in a galaxy far, far away listening to robots and aliens jam out on stage.
